THE FELIX PROJECT
It is a tremendous privilege to be donating from sales to the Felix Project. Hokan Bowls have been specifically designed to save leftover food but clearly you have to have the food in the first place to be able to do that. It is a shocking reality that there are so many people and families that do not, for many reasons, and the prospect of not being able to afford to eat is a heavy weight of shame and fear to bear. So when action is taken by a charity such as the Felix Project, who run an impeccably efficient and vast organisation, which sources from the businesses that produce too much, to then create daily meals and food boxes for those that have nothing, you have to be humbled and join in. We look forward to a making meaningful contribution to our community.
We wanted to say how pleased we are to be handing over our donation to the Felix Project for this month that equates to 1165 hot meals that this wonderful charity cooks for those who don’t otherwise have the means to get one from day to day. In fact it equals the amount of just over I day of meals that the Poplar Felix site, in East London, produces, day in, day out.
