All HOKAN products are made in a single firing system heated up to 1180 ºC (2160 ºF).
This original formula of high-fired stoneware creates a glazed surface that is very resistant
to both thermal and mechanical shocks, chip resistance, and everyday use.
DISHWASHER SAFE
All our pieces are easy to wash and clean, and abrasive cleaners can be used without the
risk of damaging the surface. Most items can be washed daily in the dishwasher. To
ensure the items last longer, we advise you to make sure that no item rubs or bumps
against another during the wash cycle, preventing damage.
OVEN, MICROWAVE AND FREEZER SAFE
All pieces manufactured in fine stoneware have high thermal shock resistance,
withstanding temperature variations between -20ºC and 250ºC (0ºF to 500ºF). The maximum thermal variation advised is 180ºC. It can be safely used in the oven,
microwave, and freezer. As a precaution, you should avoid placing pieces straight from
the oven on to a cold surface. Do not use over a direct flame or under direct heat..
FOOD SAFE
All HOKAN products comply with the International Standards including California’s Prop.
65, as they contain no lead or cadmium.

All our products are manufactured in high-quality fine stoneware. They are reliable for
everyday use and are easy to care for. All items are oven, microwave, freezer, and dishwasher-safe due to their high resistance to thermal shock and their glazed surface.
